Christian Believers United (CBU) is a trans-denominational non-profit Christian organization that was founded in 1974. The main purpose of CBU was the sponsoring of Christian conferences and retreats for the purpose of building up the strength of each attendee in the faith. Over the past 30 years CBU has held hundreds of conferences, retreats and seminars throughout the nation and in Europe, Middle East and South America. Through these dynamic Bible based events people have been privileged to be taught by the finest teachers and leaders in the world today. The majority of the speakers are well known and many have written best sellers and/or are leading major ministries.

Our Purpose
One of the main purposes today of each event is to strengthen the local church in the regions and areas the events are held. Through the conferences and events each attendee is not only strengthened in their Christian walk but also helped to find their destiny in God. They are encouraged to discover how their giftings, abilities and skills can be used in the churches where they attend.

In these events thousands have been touched by the power of God through the ministry offered at each event.

Multitudes of lives have been changed as conferees leave to lead fuller lives set free from the hindrances that kept them from living a victorious and fulfilled life. Everyone who attends these powerful conferences grows in the understanding of the Word of God as it "comes alive" as it is taught and explained in each and every session.

The main focus of every conference is the Bible and nothing is more important than the imparting of greater revelation and understanding of God’s Word.

Many of these powerful conference events are held at the Ridgecrest Conference Center at Black Mountain NC, which is located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in Western North Carolina. They are also held in many different cities around the US.

The corporate offices of CBU are located in Black Mountain, North Carolina within Laurel Ridge, a Christian community founded and developed by the CBU president Jim Jackson.
